Working with the Military

The DFAS Garnishment Law Directorate will provide an overview of key issues impacting Child Support Enforcement professionals. Topics will include locating military members; obtaining relevant data such as income and address information; proper service of process; calculation of a member’s disposable pay; types of military pay and allowances; methods for collecting child support; how to read and interpret a Leave and Earnings Statement (LES); common challenges to child support collections; and an overview of DEERS and TRICARE.

Cost: $35 for Members 

         $150 for Non-Members
